At Pett’s Hill, our mission is to provide amazing playtimes to every child, every day!

Our school believes that all children need opportunities to play that allow them to explore, manipulate, experience and affect their environment. It is the way all children learn skills that cannot be taught and has wide reaching, holistic benefits.

The ethos of the OPAL programme links perfectly with our school values and gives opportunities for pupils to demonstrate and develop their creativity, compassion, courage and community.  Not only does it strengthen our internal community but gives other opportunities to engage with, and positively impact our local community.

We are proud that all our children have access to a rich play environment which allows them to develop a wide range of play skills. Whether they enjoy dressing up and performing, to exploring nature, to den building and construction, to ball sports and physical play, or getting creative in the muddy kitchen… there is something for everyone.
