Children start in Reception the September after their fourth birthday.

Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 start primary school in September 2027. 

You must apply directly to the council that you are living in at the time of application, regardless of the borough which the school is in.

You must apply using the eAdmissions website by 15 January 2027. Late applications will only be considered after the national offer day. 

National offer day for on time applicants is 16 April 2027. If you apply online, you will get an email in the evening confirming the school that has been offered.

Applying for an in year Primary School place

Petts Hill Primary School is a popular and oversubscribed one-form entry school with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 30 pupils per year group.

Admissions during the school year, or in September to year groups other than Reception, are all referred to as in-year applications.

If your child needs to change school or you have moved into the area, you will need to apply for an in-year primary school place. Ealing Council is responsible for deciding and administering the In-Year places for Petts Hill Primary School.
